Plagiarism Policy

  • Intentional reusing/copying of other materials without clear citations or copying content without providing complete references is called Plagiarism.
  • Plagiarism is controlled immediately by employing the iThenticate (a plagiarism detection software) after receiving the manuscript, and before handling the review process.
  • There is an absolute policy in case of plagiarism in Transportation Materials and Technology. If any type of plagiarism is discovered by the editors, reviewers, readers, etc.; the authors will be asked to provide proper explanations either before, during, or after the publication.
  • The paper may be formally retracted if gets published in the journal but detected to have plagiarized contents later.
